CORINTH, NY, Sept. 28, 2011 (Saratogian ) -An Italian renewable energy firm, with U.S. headquarters in San Francisco, may use the former International Paper Co. mill site for solar panel manufacturing, creating 100 jobs in the process.

Saratoga Economic Development Corp. officials will outline such plans at 6:30 p.m. Thursday during a joint meeting of the town and village of Corinth at the Corinth Volunteer Fire Department station, at 16 Saratoga Avenue.

A second undisclosed firm would take over operation of IP's old and new landfills. The two projects are inter-related.
