PARK FALLS, WI, Feb. 20, 2012 (Local News) -The Environmental Protection Agency is enforcing new regulations which could force Flambeau River Papers in Park Falls to shut down.

Back in 2005, Flambeau River Park Paper mill closed for a few months due to bankrupcy but since being taken over by new management in 2006, the business has been thriving, according to Butch Johnson Flambeau River Papers CEO.

However, once again this plant, which employees 375 workers, faces closure if the company cannot raise the $3 million dollars needed to update their boilers, according to Johnson.
