Valmet to supply automation to AustroCel’s new bioethanol plant in Hallein, Austria

ESPOO, Finland, May 5, 2020 (Press Release) -Valmet will supply automation to AustroCel’s bioethanol plant currently under construction in Hallein, Austria. The advanced automation technology will provide the plant with high operational flexibility, reliability and availability in producing biofuel to replace fossil fuel.

The order was included in Valmet’s orders received of the first quarter 2020. The value of the order is not disclosed. The delivery will take place in June 2020, and the plant will start its operation at the end of 2020.

ISTRANA, Italy, May 4, 2020 (Press Release) -With reference to the administrative procedure concerning the new project with a reduction variant of the Mantua plant of Cartiere Villa Lagarina SpA (which includes the withdrawal of the incinerator), on 30 April u.s. the fourth session of the Conferenza dei Servizi took place in video conferencing mode.

All the authorities expressed a favorable opinion and the Conferenza dei Servizi consequently considered that there are the conditions for expressing a positive opinion on the environmental compatibility of the project.
