Germany-based poultry supplier Claus opts for Schumacher Packaging's eco-friendly HALOPACK modified-atmosphere packaging

EBERSDORF BEI COBURG, Germany , May 19, 2020 (Press Release) -Frisch-Geflügel Claus (claus-frischgefluegel.de) is the first of Germany's poultry suppliers to opt for the eco-friendly HALOPACK modified-atmosphere packaging from Schumacher Packaging. The Schumacher Packaging Group is one of the largest family-run manufacturers of corrugated and solid board packaging solutions. Claus, a company that produces and supplies poultry meat, is abandoning the 190 mm plastic trays that have been the standard choice to date in favour of the innovative HALOPACK.

HALIFAX, NS, May 26, 2020 (CBC) -Nova Scotia's environment minister says that regardless of any concerns Northern Pulp has with an order he recently issued, he expects the company to abide by the terms as outlined in the document.

Last week, Gordon Wilson issued an order updating one he issued in January,that states what Northern Pulp must do as it decommissions and cleans up its site in Pictou County.
