BRATTLEBORO, VT, Sept. 6, 2019 (VTDigger) -Long Falls Paperboard, the company that this year bought the former Neenah Paper Inc. plant in Brattleboro, is using a $1 million federal grant to study using wood biomass instead of the natural gas that is delivered to the factory in trucks every day.

UK watchdog mulls OK for Liqui-Box acquisition of DSS plastics unit

Macfarlane Group acquires Leyland Packaging Company for £3.25 million

BRUSSELS, Belgium, Sept. 5, 2019 (Fastmarkets RISI) -Macfarlane Group has bought 100% of Leyland Packaging Company, a UK protective packaging distributor, for a maximum consideration of £3.25 million ($3.9 million), including an earn-out of £1 million.

Leyland is focused on industrial customers within a close radius of its 37,000 sq. ft. facilities in Leyland, in north-western England, with easy access to the M6, M61 and M65 motorways.

LUCCA, ITALY, Sept. 5, 2019 (Press Release) -In August the French customer's technicians validated the Factory Acceptance Test, carried out at A.Celli Paper’s facilities, for the tissue machine, the heart of the complete turnkey plant, entirely supplied by A.Celli Paper.

The new iDEAL 1800S machine has a 2850 mm format and an operating speed of 1800 mpm. The turn-key project also includes an E-WIND T100 rewinder and a R-WAY roll-handling system.

The Yankee supplied is the forged one of the latest A.Celli generation and has a diameter of 15’.
