Frugalpac to provide its its recyclable Frugal Cup to The Docks Coffee House in Southampton, UK

IPSWICH, UK, June 28, 2019 (Press Release) -The Docks Coffee House in Southampton has made a move towards a sustainable future as the first coffee shop in the city to serve drinks in the first fully recyclable coffee cup made of recycled paper, the Frugal Cup.

According to a report by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and Eunomia Research & Consulting, the UK is set to throw away a third more single-use coffee cups than at present by 2030.

Borregaard to invest NOK 131 million to increase use of bio energy from production residuals at its Sarpsborg site in Norway

SARPSBORG, Norway, June 19, 2019 (Press Release) -Borregaard has today decided to invest NOK 131 million in a project aimed at increasing the use of bioenergy from production residuals at the Sarpsborg site in Norway.

When completed in 2021, the bioenergy produced as a result of this project will be approximately 20 GWh per year, representing a reduction of CO2 emissions of 1,200 tonnes. Longer term there is a potential to increase production to 34 GWh per year, and a corresponding reduction of 1,400 tonnes CO2 emissions.
