SCA to divest its logistics unit in Rotterdam to Dutch company Matrans Holdings

SUNDSVALL, Sweden, June 3, 2019 (Press Release) -SCA intends to divest SCA Logistics (Rotterdam) B.V. to the Dutch company Matrans Holdings B.V. The transaction is expected to reduce SCA’s net debt by about 575 M SEK, including both the purchase price and the effect of financial leases which are included in the sale. The divestment is expected to reduce SCA’s EBITDA by around 30 M SEK on an annual basis.

Biotechnology company Mycorena to launch pilot plant to evaluate large-scale conversion of industrial wastewater into fungi biomass in Bäckhammar, Sweden

GOTHENBURG, Sweden, May 9, 2019 (Press Release) -During 2019, Mycorena will launch its own industrial pilot plant in Bäckhammar, Sweden. The facility will be used to validate large scale conversion of industrial wastewater into fungi biomass for production of valuable products.

In april, we went to Bäckhammar to officialize the implementation of Mycorena’s own pilot production plant. This week, we have met with the different partners involved and made important advancements towards kickstarting operations.
