UK's Casepak receives contract to process 18,000 tonnes of Aylesbury Vale's dry, mixed recyclables

LEICESTER, UK, May 24, 2019 (Press Release) -Casepak has been awarded a contract by Aylesbury Vale District Council (AVDC) to process co-mingled recyclables collected from households across the region.

The contract, which was awarded in September 2018, will see Casepak process up to 18,000 tonnes of dry, mixed recyclables collected from 78,000 households across the Aylesbury Vale.

STOCKHOLM, May 27, 2019 (Press Release) -Metsä Fibre, part of Metsä Group, has awarded ÅF Pöyry with the pre-engineering assignment for new bioproduct mill, Kemi. The target for the ongoing pre-engineering project is to create conditions for building a bioproduct mill with an annual production capacity of approximately 1.5 million tonnes of softwood and hardwood pulp to Metsä Group’s current mill site in Kemi. In addition to pulp, the mill would produce various other bioproducts. This mill would be the biggest wood processing unit in the Northern hemisphere.

The contract was signed on 27.5.2019. ÅF Pöyry will provide Metsä Fibre consulting services for pre-engineering projects. Pre-engineering projects include, among other things, Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and environmental permit processes, main equipment contracts and investment proposals.
