NEW YORK, Feb. 26, 2019 (Press Release) -French supermarket chain Carrefour has signed the national pact to phase out plastic packaging across its stores by 2025 at the Ministry for the Ecological Transition.

The national pact aims to prevent more than 140t of plastic being used per year.

The company joins other companies who signed the pact, including Auchan Retail France, Biscuits Bouvard, Carrefour, Coca-Cola European Partners, Danone, L’Oréal, LSDH, Nestlé France, and Unilever.

VEVEY, Switzerland , March 4, 2019 (Press Release) -Nestlé has today announced the launch of a new Nesquik All Natural powder. The new Nesquik features a simplified, natural ingredients list and comes in a recyclable paper pouch.

Nestlé is launching the new Nesquik All Natural in five European markets in the coming weeks: France, Germany, Italy, Portugal and Spain. It will sit alongside the existing Nesquik range, and will be rolled out to other European countries in the near future.

Valmet has on February 26, 2019 entered into an agreement to acquire North American-based GL&V, a global provider of technologies and services to the pulp and paper industry. The enterprise value of the acquisition is approximately EUR 113 million on a cash and debt free basis subject to ordinary post-closing adjustments. The acquisition is estimated to be completed at the earliest on April 1, 2019.
