BRUSSELS, 25 August 2015 (RISI) - The Scotland-based paper and board trading company PG Paper has bought Scottish paper and board manufacturer Tullis Russell's Trucard and its associated product brands, as well as the Gemini range from KPMG. The firm did not disclose the amount of the transaction.
According to PG Paper, Tullis Russell sold 73,142 tonnes of Trucard branded paper last year. The trademark, which includes a wide range of premium coated and uncoated solid bleached sulphate (SBS) boards, is associated with the Tru, Truflo, Truscal, Trulux and Trusilk brands.Read more

Valmet will supply a complete OptiConcept M containerboard production line for Lee & Man in Jiang Xi in China. The new production line is planned to produce high-quality containerboard grades out of 100 percent recycled raw materials. The start-up of the machine is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2016.
The order is included in Valmet's third quarter 2015 orders received. The value of the order will not be disclosed. An order of this scope is typically valued around EUR 40-50 million.Read more
