A new world record of 4,082 consecutive, successful splices was set by Jean Carlo Cerdas of New England Sheets. Jean Carlo Cerdas successfully made every splice he attempted from November 11, 2013 to July 15, 2014.
Representatives from MarquipWardUnited and the entire New England Sheets team celebrated the new record with Cerdas on Friday October 10, 2014. Cerdas was presented an embroidered world record jacket and, in keeping with the traditional belt-buckle theme for the MarquipWardUnited Century Club, a World Champion Splicer Operator Belt.
