The International Corrugated Packaging Foundation ("ICPF") has announced that Tavens Packaging & Display Solutions has become ICPF's most recent corporate partner by pledging $50,000 to support the foundation's educational and student outreach initiatives.
"Taven's ownership and management are excited about supporting the ICPF as well as helping the next generation discover the corrugated industry, building our and their futures together" said Mike Schaefer, Tavens' President. "With the assistance of ICPF, we are looking forward to developing a student internship program here at Taven's.
ICPF Chairman Tom Walton, Senior Vice President of Packaging Corporation of America, welcomed Tavens as a corporate partner of ICPF and thanked Mike for the corporation's pledge. "We appreciate this pledge of support from Tavens that will help support ICPF's educational work, such as ICPF's ongoing initiative to place students into internships within the corrugated industry."
Tavens Packaging and Display Solutions has long been a valued provider of packaging solutions in the Northeast Ohio manufacturing community. With the addition of expanded capabilities in high graphic and display production, Tavens is serving their chosen market with the products of a large corrugated plant but the flexibility of a small sheet plant.

ICPF is dedicated to the continued creation and building of partnerships within the education community, the advancement of corrugated curriculum, the expansion of student internships within the industry and the promotion of corrugated packaging & display career opportunities for packaging design, graphic design, marketing & sales, business, finance & accounting, supply chain management, engineering, environmental science, and related graduates.
