OAKLAND, CA, March 10, 2016 (RISI) -North American forest products railroad freight was up 0.9% in the week ending Mar. 5, 2016, to 18,496 carloads, the Assn of American Railroads reported. Volume through nine weeks at 166,761 was 1.1% below the same period in 2015.
CMP and SCA Logistics have signed a partnership agreement. It makes Malmö a new hub in the hygiene and forestry industry company’s transport network. The goods arrive by ship at CMP, where they are transhipped and sent on to customers in the region.
